I know that at a sensitive time when death comes you need that comfort, but really think if Star of David is the right place to put your loved ones as they seem not to care after the funeral at all.
I buried my brother there in November of 2008. At that time I purchased a spot for his remains in the Garden to be placed. Due to many issues wasn't able to get to see this spot until September and I couldn't find his grave site. After checking with the office they sent me again with a map to the same place and still couldn't find it. Finally the manager came out and we found that after 3 years the stone was never engraved. It seems that the sales person that took care of me left them and it was forgotten. Of course they apologized but that really didn't make up for their total insensitivity of the issue. I finally got someone to help me and it seemed to be done but now it's three months later and they still haven't contacted me that anything has been done.
Just wanted to publicly praise Honey, at Star of David. I called up from New York needing a last minute referral to a local florist for a funeral service, and she put me in touch with a very competent flower shop that was able to get a nice arrangement delivered in time for the memorial. Thank you!

Don't ever buy a prepaid burial contract from this group. They kept my moms money for 23 years and only gave back the principal!!! She would have done better to put the money under her bed. Florida laws should change but until then the consumers should be aware and informed..
I would never recommend this place. It is supposed to be a place of compassion. And the funeral director makes you feel uncomfortable. I am sorry my parents are there.
